5 of the Best

Mazda RX-7 (2nd Gen)

📈 1 year: 9.1% 5 year: 1.3% 

The RX-7, with its unique rotary engine and stylish design, has been accelerating in the investment market recently. Its blend of Japanese reliability with sports car performance is makes it a high-revving entrant.

MG TF

 📈 1 year: 20.5% 5 year: 9.5% 

The British sports car that combines classic styling with modern performance is roaring in the market. Its investment performance is as smooth as its ride, making it a darling of the classic car investment scene.

Porsche 914

📈 1 year: 11.5% 5 year: 3.0% 

Not just a pretty face, this mid-engined sports car is proving its mettle in the classic car market. Its modest size but robust investment returns echo the adage: great things come in small packages.

Nissan 280ZX (S130)

📈 1 year: 10.2% 5 year: 2.8% 

This Japanese classic has revved up the investment scene, its performance demonstrating the timeless appeal of Nissan’s design ethos. A beloved classic, it’s gaining traction among savvy investors.

Jensen Interceptor

📈 1 year: 11.4% 5 year: 1.7% 

This British-made beauty is intercepting its way up the classic car investment ladder. Known for its distinctive design and luxury features, it’s become a rising star in the market.

5 of the Worst

Chevrolet Silverado (4th Gen)

📉 1 year: -13.0% 5 year: -6.0% 

This tough American workhorse has, unfortunately, been lagging in the investment race. Despite its utility and popularity on the roads, it’s not yet mirrored in the classic car market.

BMW 5 Series (E28)

📉 1 year: -10.9% 5 year: -1.9% 

While an iconic series from the German automaker, the E28 hasn’t been faring well in the investment space. However, with its rich pedigree, there’s potential for a future rebound.

Audi S4 (B5)

📉 1 year: -10.7% 5 year: -1.3% 

This German powerhouse has not been as phenomenal in the investment circuit as it is on the road. A surprisingly slow market performer, it’s currently experiencing a dip.

Land Rover Series II

📉 1 year: -8.3% 5 year: -1.3% 

This off-road icon is currently navigating some bumps in the market. Its investment performance has been less adventurous than its reputation, marking it as one to watch for possible future shifts.

Pontiac Bonneville (4th Gen)

📉 1 year: -7.3% 5 year: -2.2% 

This American classic has been trailing behind its counterparts in the market. Its unique charm hasn’t yet translated into strong investment performance.

📣 News: Lifelong Friends Restore Classic ’73 Mustang to Support Friend with ALS

In a heartwarming act of friendship, Texas-based classic car enthusiasts Richard Watson, Brett McMath, and their companions, spent a year restoring a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for their high school friend Craig Reagan, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2016.

The classic Mustang, which has been in Reagan’s possession since he was 17, had been sitting in his garage for over two decades.

The restoration was unveiled in front of a crowd at the Valley Ranch Town Center, a special gift to Reagan and a gesture to raise ALS awareness and funds for his family.

Despite his prognosis, Reagan has lived 85 months past his diagnosis and expressed his joy at seeing his treasured car restored. He’s also created a website to share his story.
